Dr. Benjamin Rosenstadt, MD
Dr. Rosenstadt is a graduate of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. After serving as an intern and resident in General Surgery at the St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City, he went on to complete his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at St. Luke's-Roosevelt. Upon completion of his residency, he pursued further training as a fellow in Musculoskeletal Trauma with Roy Sanders, M.D., at the Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida. He then returned to New York, where he completed his training with a one-year fellowship in hand and upper extremity reconstructive surgery with Dr. Richard Eaton at the C.V. Dr. Kincaid graduated from College of the Holy Cross with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in chemistry. He went on to attend Tufts University School of Medicine, where he obtained his Doctorate of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Kincaid continued his training as a fellow of Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at New York University- Hospital for Joint Diseases. Dr Patel then pursued further training at Harvard Medical School where he completed at fellowship in Hand, Upper Extremity and Microvascular surgery at the Massachussets General Hospital where he gained extensive experience in complex hand and upper extremity conditions. He has obtained additional microsurgery training at the Microsurgery Training and Research Laboratory at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Patel completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Biomechanics at the Musculoskeletal Research Center at New York University Hospital For Joint Diseases. Dr Patel has served as the in-house physician for Madison Square Garden, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Martha Graham Dance School. He has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals, has authored several book chapters in his field of expertise and has presented at National and Regional Orthopedic surgery/Hand Surgery Annual meetings. Dr Patel has received numerous accolades for his clinical excellence including awards at the 2005 and 2006 Annual Smith and Nephew national resident research competition and Senior resident research award for basic science research in orthopedic surgery in 2008. Dr Patelâs interest are in complex hand and upper extremity problems with a focused approach on both nonsurgical and surgical problems.
